Betty Daniel Dunn has a BA in English and French from Vanderbilt and a master’s in Speech Pathology from UVa. She was a speech pathologist for 5 years, a housewife for 15 years, and a math teacher in the Arlington County Schools for 23 years. During her teaching years she was licensed to teach English, French PreK-12, Mathematics, and Speech-Language Disorders PreK-12.
She has taken many additional courses in drawing, painting, mathematics, Arabic, Chinese, and German at the Corcoran, GWU, VCU off-campus graduate art, and NOVA. After she retired, she has spent much more time on art. Drawing and painting are her favorite retirement activities.
