Born in Washington, D.C., Ginger Sanaie was raised in northern Virginia, and currently maintains a studio in McLean, Virginia.  Her favorite subjects are landscapes, people, and animals.  She has traveled widely and enjoys creating work that reflects her travel.

Ginger loves to experiment with watermedia such as watercolor, acrylic, ink and casein. She has studied with many well-known artists including Don Andrews, Skip Lawrence, Gerald Brommer, Sue Archer, Mark Mehaffey, Mike Bailey, Myrna Wacknov, Frank Eber and others.

Her award-winning work is found in private collections throughout the United States.  She has exhibited in numerous group and solo shows, and is a juried member of the Virginia Watercolor Society and the Potomac Valley Watercolorists. She is also a member of the Vienna Arts Society, the McLean Art Society, the Portrait Society of America, the Arlington Artists Alliance, and the American Watercolor Society.
