Ginnie Luster paints primarily in watercolors and acrylics. She has been fortunate to paint at some extremely picturesque sites overseas – in England, France, and Italy – while participating in various workshops, and she has studied with well-known artists in the U.S. as well.
Closer to home, in the Washington area, Ginnie often enjoys painting local scenes, and draws particular inspiration from the Potomac River and the C & O Canal. She also enjoys painting in Maine.
Her work is found at local venues, such as the Spring Hill Rec. Center in McLean. Entering juried shows is always a nice challenge as well. Ginnie Luster is a member of the Arlington Artists Alliance, the Potomac Valley Watercolorists, and the McLean Art Society.
