Based in Falls Church, Virginia, for more than a decade and originally from Indore, India Asmita Nagar Upadhyay is a multi-talented professional, educator, and passionate self taught artist whose diverse background spans corporate management, academia, and the creative arts.

She holds a Master’s in Business Administration, a Master’s in English Literature, and a Bachelor’s in Chemistry Honors, leveraging this multidisciplinary expertise through past roles as a management professor, counselor, soft skills trainer, and  HR professional at The World bank.

Alongside her corporate and academic pursuits, Asmita is a deeply dedicated creative artist who views art as a meditative practice, specializing in sketching, acrylic painting, and traditional henna artistry for weddings, baby showers, and community events.

Guided by the philosophy that art washes the dust of daily life off our souls, she channels her optimistic and soulful perspective into capturing themes of nature & subjects across multiple artistic mediums.
